Oh, I am literally weeping from laughter at this point. I am loving this whole storyline and I cannot WAIT to see what the ladies do to Balder… I am sure it will have something to do with the many thrustings and anglings of things… And stacking things on top of other things…

Minor quibble but Loki moved from one side to the other between the two … aren’t they all paralyzed, or is Loki just pretending paralysis? 281, 282, he’s on the right, 283 he’s on the left?

@Wynni - I try to avoid visits from Deuce if possible. There is usually a plan or a reason for everything that happens in the comic. Case in point…

Pookah has been missing since just after Sif’s plan, but disappeared just after Balder’s brave sacrifice was mentioned. Might it have contributed some intervention of its own? ^_^

And check where Thor’s eyes are following. Noticiably not where the other guys are ogling… Yay Sif!!! <3

Yeah, it’s rather like Batman, he’s officially calle “The Batman” but that gets weird when talking to and about him. Hrmmm, did Balder have a visit from my favorite ex Mechanic, Deuce? My hubby keeps threatening our gaming sessions with him.

@Jubal - That is correct. She’s normally referred to as “The Morrigan”, and I tried keeping to that during the Pantheon Games story arc… but it made the dialogue feel weird (and I found myself trying to change the dialogue to make it sound better). When I get the new character pages finished and uploaded, you’ll see her officially listed there as “The Morrigan”.

I just read my last post and even I didn’t get it. What I mean to ask, isn’t she referred to as “The Morrigan” as opposed to simply as “Morrigan”?

What I know of the Celtic myths isn’t as complete as the Greek or Norse myths but I do remember her being referred to as such (she’s my favorite of the Celtic gods, she totally kicks ass).

@SSgt Lance Heinzelman - Thanks for the comments. It’s good to hear some military folks are reading the comic (my wife and I both served in the Air Force).

BTW, there were two black boxes. ^_^ If anyone ever catches a glimpse of Seth’s sketchbook (at one of our rare convention appearances), you’d easily see he likes to draw sexy women, so I told him to just cut loose this time (and let me worry about covering things up).

@j c roullard - It’s possible. If Balder saved himself, it would technically still fit with my “divine intervention” statement. Or maybe there was more to it. Hmmm.

@Rayna - Hooray for cat naps! And once more for the gamers out there… divine intervention.

Heh… Balder ain’t got NUTHIN’ on his twin brother… But I digress…

Those Celtic guys are almost as bad as Odin. *grins* Oh, and excellent use of picture composition to hide “naughty bits”… And can I just say that I love the fact that Sif is still in the thick of things fighting–while the guys are just standing there staring?? Promote that girl to head Valkyrie, and smack the boys… GO SIF!

Balder strategically waited until both dragon’s took cat naps. Then using techniques he learned from the other contestants in the beauty competition, clawed his way out. Next changed into one of the spare outfits Sif had made for him and leisurely strode forward.

Playing with a “Balder” of string obviously lost its charm for Dewi and his cousin. Or ,more likely, our hunka burning Balder turned HIS charm up a titch and had them eating out of (not into) his hand.
