Well, this is Hod, you know, the one capable of keeping up with Loki? I think we’re all more than justified in thinking there was more to than just a thoughtful gesture. There’s at least one other motive (even if it’s buying a peaceful moment to work on poetry).

Hmmmmm ALCME the alchemists catalog perhaps…. Although im going out on a limb here to say that hod’s motive may have been to get rid of an unwanted action figure… Although he could have used the well of wisdom to predict the tragic chain of casualty that would occur in the eventual downfall of the entire world into darkness to make up for his lack of sight “gasp” that would stem from the event of him giving a balder action figure to sif for her birthday. …… Orrrr not.
