Brat-halla is a webcomic about the Norse gods from their elementary school days. All-Father Odin and Frigg constantly have their hands full with Thor (the super strong runt of the litter), Loki (the god of mischief who likes to play with dolls), Balder (the invulnerable pretty boy), Hod (the blind god of darkness and winter), Hermod (the hyper super speedster god), and all the rest of the Norse pantheon.
@smjjames - Yep, I figured there’d be some confusion by this point in the story (time travel and jumping to the future can do that to a storyline), but it’ll all come together.
I wonder how this will turn out. I think i saw a slip that the Hod @ the house wasn’t the real Hod in the Mjollnir Madness… He covered his eyes when Odin and Frigg run up the stairs o.O or maybe he’s just super sensing like that.
I thought the title of the storyline “Twilight of The God” would be close enough to Gotterdammerung (”Twilight of the Gods”) to give people a hint of what’s happening… or better yet, what’s getting ready to happen. But if people want me to shed some light on what’s going on (without spoiling too much of the story), speak up here and I’ll gladly share some insider info. I like to keep people on their toes, but I don’t want anyone to be too confused to actually enjoy the story.

Instead of this other story with hod an all the blackness. Could ya pop some art in there or something?
If it’s supposed to be some addition to the story taht u learn about only by votin, thats pretty decent.
But goin back to basic psych. It’s always nice to be rewarded with somethin pretty to look at when ya push the lever ^^ heheh
Don’t mind what it is. Off the top of ya head doodle, mini poster, poster chunk, random drawings, or favorite pic ya want to share.
Long story short, reward witha little less talk an a lot more action!
Btw, ya guys got an awesome web comic, great attitudes, awesome loyalty, hilarious characters, and ya just all around good people.
hope ya lead long happy healthy lives mates!

The jumping back and forth in time and circumstance is a little wacky, but I trust youse guys to explain it all in the end. And as usual… I will be reading and re-reading each strip to try and see the clues you always leave and tell us about later. *grin*
Is that Dead Balder ™ to Hel’s left in the middle left panel?
@Riley - We’ll see if we can get some pretty pictures out there in the voting areas (I’ve been looking into some new ideas for some extras… just been busy working on more stuff for the actual website).
@Theala Sildorian - There will be more Hod’s comic on the way toward the end of this month (sorry, for the delay on that… getting settled into a new job).
@Jasta - Good eye there. That is Dead Balder. And if he and (fake) Hod had already made it down to Hel’s realm, then it’s almost time for… ^_^
oh yea, I wonder if the fake balder is actually Loki in disguise. Although I’m not sure how long he would be able to keep up that maserquade before he slips up or someone figures it out.
Also, are the two people holding dead balder captive two of the students from that ninja academy that Hod went to? They are probably that phoenix girl with the lightning powers and that bald kid with the fire powers.

Loki hasn’t been seen in this future yet, so he could be chained up and punished already.
Thor and crew’s plans for the girls hasn’t fully been revealed yet (except for helping to test the time ripper).
The fake Balder is known as Balder 109. You’ll know the significance of that name soon.
And you get a “Good Eye Badge” too. Yep, that’s Hoang and Phuong from the school. Together, they make up the entity known as the Phoenix (they both represent different aspects of the Phoenix… a version of the Phoenix myth where it exists in both yin and yang form).
@Jeffery Stevenson- Aye mate, and apologizes for the off comments from time to time lol
What exactly goes into managin a website like this? Ya guys do an awesome job. I’m honestly impressed, and curious how far you have your story planned out. And the way you dig into all the old religion, and stick with a lot of the Norse myths/legends, is pretty amazing in itself ^^ lol

@Riley - Thanks. As for the website, most of the stuff I’m working on right now is expanding out the Characters section, getting our Links section back up (and looking pretty), and working on the new store front for the Brat-halla merchandise… which also means I’ve been working on some new t-shirt designs too. Most of the work has been in the Characters section though. This comic does have a LOT of characters.
