Yeah, but think how Sif is gonna react when Thor swtiches back to his Brat body? And seeing how he is immortal and all, how long DOES it take for a godling to hit puberty?

No, think about it - how many prepubescents get the chance to know exactly what they will end up with in the long run? Sif has no cause to regret her decision. She already thinks the junior version is wonderful (if a bit inattentive…), so I doubt that she would be disappointed when(?) Thor switches back. She just gets to have a glimpse of good things to come. Perhaps Thor might not even be completely distraught - knowing that his growth spurt will come in time.
