Sif has no cause to regret her decision. She already thinks the junior version is wonderful (if a bit inattentive...), so I doubt that she would be disappointed when(?) Thor switches back. She just gets to have a glimpse of good things to come. Perhaps Thor might not even be completely distraught - knowing that his growth spurt will come in time.
