Brat-halla is a webcomic about the Norse gods from their elementary school days. All-Father Odin and Frigg constantly have their hands full with Thor (the super strong runt of the litter), Loki (the god of mischief who likes to play with dolls), Balder (the invulnerable pretty boy), Hod (the blind god of darkness and winter), Hermod (the hyper super speedster god), and all the rest of the Norse pantheon.

Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Someone had to do it, sooner or later.
I totally had to go back and find that comic… I love how this comic refers to previous storylines… [that leave behind small clues...]
It keeps us on our toes… Thank you!
I thought it went back to the foreign exchange program. So not surprised Jealousy opened the door to the evil little critter.
Still wondering how Loki knew Hod was injured so he could play his little game. Also still wondering where he is now. Was it even really Loki back then?
What jealousy? You mean pookah’s jealousy of the gods?
Getting the crap beat out of him and being on the receiving end of abuse all the time lead to Pookah’s invasion. Nothing more or less.
And thanks guys for a seemless tying up.
Now, somebody punt Pookah to the moon.
and Loki prolly got the info from Hel, after Hod’s little visit.
@Trowa - There are so many smart and knowledgeable Brat-halla readers here, I have to do something to keep all of you on your toes.
@smjjames - It’s a mystery god! Or The Dagda who hasn’t aged well due to stress and overall lack of job satisfaction.
@Butterfly Kat - I saw your comment in an earlier episode but didn’t want to really say anything then. We do leave clues. There are even clues for future stories no one has even noticed yet. And Wynnefredd’s on the right track about how Loki found out about Hod in the Norse Force storyline.
@Wolf Gunnison - I like that. “Sorta suspected it. Although it’s brilliant nonetheless.” No one here’s offended at all.
@sprotte - This is a webcomic focused on mythology, so this is a shape-changing Pookah. We adjusted him a bit for fun and story, but that’s what he’s based off of.
@Wynnefredd - We have fully tied up the loose ends… there are still a couple things left to resolve. As for punting Pookah to the moon… well, I don’t think anyone left alive could take him in his current powered-up form.
@KnightShadow22 - Thanks! Glad you’re enjoying the storyline and the wallpaper… I really need to finish up the wallpaper section for the site so I can get all of them out there.
I just discovered this webcomic and I have to thank you very much. You do such a great work and I really enjoy reading it.
But there is a question bugging me:
How did you decide which nordic gods should appear in the comic? I miss Njord, Frey and Freyr, so basically the Vanir. And also some other gods like Skadi or Mimr. Do they get an appearance later on in the comic?
Thanks for the info!

Somehow I think I would have liked “da-da” a little more.
Or something less sadistic.
Can’t say this surprised me… it makes sense… sorta suspected it. Although it’s brilliant nonetheless.
Don’t take offense at this, though. I figured out a lot of Conan Doyle’s mysteries when I first read them.

I think Pookah / Pooka is a shape changer, so he could look humanoid. He often looks like a black horse, if it’s the same pooka as in mythology.
