This may be a little late, but after following a link from Foglio studios here, and perusing your archives. (Or systematically reading through them… whichever you prefer.)
I noticed this oblique Monty Python Reference.
I couldn’t help but comment. Monty Python is great. Especially Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
(All though, for some odd reason, the bottom of the becon remindes me of Darth Vader’s helmet.) Are you jabbing at Starwars too?)
@Teshmel - It’s never too late to comment… I read every comment posted out here. And you’ll see a number of Monty Python references throughout the comic (this one and Episode #5 are somewhat subtle, but episode #107 is pretty obvious).
Now that you mention it, it does look a little Darth Vader. Oddly, when I first saw it, I thought Seth might be taking a jab at the old Doom Patrol villain, The Brain.
