#390 – Jr. Pantheon Games: Secret Entertainer

    The veil starts to part.

Arazel being the Goddess of Secrets makes sense. She certainly projects that sort of “all knowing” scholarly personality. And Loki is correct about the possible reaction of people to hearing her title. But then, he IS the god of mischief and chaos.

By the way, all he needs now is another head, and he could claim that he was Zaphod Beeblebrox. (sp?)

Xerenia also got a domain that fits her. After all, she is the comedy relief of the team. Acrobatics will helf her with their adventuring, though. As will the silly costumes with monsters of some intelligence. They will be helpless with laughter and unable to fight or stop the ladies.

Xerania also know that Arazel WILL tell people EXACTLY what her domain is, and there is nothing mysterious about how Arazel knows this. She was there when Xerania was elevated.

In the last panel, Thor looks like he is trying not to laugh, Hermod does not seem to get it, and of course Loki is laughing out loud. And Arazel is enjoying Xerenia’s embarrassment and everyone else’s reactions.

she needs to learn that secrets don’t make friends…

I think Thor’s in love…with the hotdog costume. Or maybe Xerenia’s acrobatics. Or maybe he just thinks they’re cool.

I wonder if Loki and Arazel will strike up some sort of secret alliance, which, due to Arazel’s new powers, may or may not stay a secret for much longer.

Tricksters and secrets are always a spendid mix!
Is Arazel trying to look japaneese in the the 2. panel?

    • Mark Sebree says:

Well, she is already a chibi form of herself, which helps. And I can see why you would think that. Both ladies/girls do seem to have understated mouths for the size of their faces. Their eyes are not large enough for “stereotypical” anime characters, however.

Whoo! Finally caught up to the current comic. Great read, folks. And thank you ever so much for making Thor a red-head. Someone had to get it right since Marvel wanted the Aryan ideal for their Norse God of Thunder.

  6. Pfeniks says:

One of his right arms. LOL!
