#404 – Jr. Pantheon Games: Chromatic or Metallic?

For some of us RPGers, some of the magic was letting our imaginations get carried away with what might be out there… just to find out it was much worse than we thought.

    *Fishlegs voice.* Um, that’s a Titanium-Gold-Alloy Dragon! It’s got a beam attack.

  2. cde says:

It takes -5 defense when bribed with booze and women.

    • Mark S. says:

Too bad they do not have either one. The one they need right now is their mother, who can provide both the feminine wiles and the booze.

By the way, “HTTYD”? I recognized the D&D reference (I remember the original AD&D from junior high/high school back in the late 70′s/early 80′s), but not that acronym.

      • Krynne says:

Actually HTTYD is the acronym for that movie that just came out… How To Train Your Dragon.

I also loved the AD&D references… and nearly spewed my tea giggling at seeing Mr. Stark as a dragon LOL!

  3. cde says:

Wait, so we get some HTTYD jokes, and an Ironman joke, but no 404 joke?!?

I loved the D&D reference. Luckily Hermod always gets at least a +25 on his initiative (unfortunately, he never knows what to do with it).

  5. inlaid says:

Nearly sprayed my drink across my computer…

  6. desika says:

I guess it’s still better than the tarrasque…

  7. J/K says:

    irondragon rocks hahaha

  8. Pfeniks says:

He’s both a red and a gold dragon! And a playboy billionaire genius, all rolled into one! What the heck does HE breathe? Snarky remarks and alcohol breath?

    • Mark S. says:

Of course. Where do you think the fire breath and dragon breath comes from? You have to have a fuel source for the fire..

And he probably has repulsor spells as well as some missile spells to go with his inate arsenal.

  9. John says:

When you run across a legendary creature, you should always ask for an autograph before anything alse. Flattery works… sometimes…

  10. Erin says:

Funny… I saw ‘I read it in the Monster-” and the only thing coming to mind to finish it was ‘Monster Book of Monsters’… I see HP in everything… *sigh* It was not until the comments that I realized about the HTTYD thing…
