  No, he won’t come out of the armor. OdinEye would have blasted Thor almost as soon as he saw him.
  
  On the other hand, I can see OE having invented it, and perhaps loaned it (set to automatic) to the goddesses running the competition. After all, OE has made pretty advanced suits of armor before, as evidenced in the finals of the Pantheon Games, Odin and OE vs. Zeus.
