Intermissions: Hod’s Comic #38
Personal issues are at the root cause of this hiatus, but our little website here has needed some work for a while… I actually spend more time keeping things up-and-running (smoothly) and fixing broken pieces here at the Brat-halla website than I have time to work on writing for the site. I’m hoping the redesign and recoding of things will switch that around.
Best wishes on the personal situations. Looking forward to the revamped webpage, more Hod (he’s my favorite character) and for the Junior Pantheon Games to recommence.
Somehow, I doubt Thor and Hermod will mind spending a little more time where they are, although if they stay there too long they may lose by default

No worries! This is a great comic and I’m willing to wait. Take as much time as needed to sort everything out. Hope all goes well with both the personal side and the virtual side of life.

This is definitely my favorite web comic. I can’t wait until you’re back online with more adventures! But when are we going to see the Vanir? I want my daily dose of Freya, everyone’s favorite naughty goddess!
I miss my Aenir. I’m trying to be patient…but…it’s just..so…hard…and Hodikens #38 is sooo…dark…I find meself going back to the final panel of #415…it helps…Freya would be a nice (?) addition…
Looks like it’s getting “twitchy” in here.
I miss Frigg, too, and even Loki. But I mostly find myself missing everyone’s favorite troublemakers, Arazel and Xarenia (which, btw, are TOTALLY ADORABLE as kids).
Good luck getting things together. My only issue is that it’s been on the same comic for the last several weeks. Could we add a new Hod’s, at least? Please and thank you!

I’ve been impressing everybody, including my clasics major buddies, with my unusually high amount of Norse mythology references.
Just re-read the whole series.
It’s truly a masterpiece.
I grew up with the old stories with Odin, Thor, Loki, Freya, Utgard-Loki, Fafnir… The works.
My father told me and my brothers the sagas as bed-time stories.
What can I say? I grew up truly feeling like a real viking and full of pride for my nordic (Swedish) heritage.
I do the saem saga reading for my daughter…she’s 8 now, but I’ve been reading them to her before she could read! She gets those, plus a dose of Grimm, and other fairy tales from around the world. She also like pulp mysteries like the old Nancy Drew stuff from the 1950s in the US.
Still lurking the page… drooling, whimpering and chewing my nails off in anticipation… where’s that bottle of mead, dammit! Anyhoo… I hope everything is going well with you folks.
Where or where has our little artist gone oh where can he be??? He gives us a black screen with generous hod and not Valkyries. Why oh why hasn’t come back yet?? Maybe cause of the Three?? (Okay Loki what did you and your cohorts do to Jeff, Seth, and Anothy Lee???)

Hey, fellas? Are you even checking on the comments? I know, I know, family issues and day jobs. But you’re nearing your second month without even a change to Valkyries to show for it. Even a mess-art doodle would be welcome at this point–just a change from the same Hod (though he’s my favorite of the bunch). Just something to say, ‘hey, we still remember our readers. We know you’re eagerly anticipating anything we can give you.’ Sorry if Isound annoyed, but I’m getting annoyed with no-change, no-change, and more no-change. Seriously. Please put up a new Hod or doodle or something to let us know. Anything. Really. Thanks for hearing out my rant. Still hoping to enjoy this site again sometime soon.
Me thinks it must be that Jeff and Rayna be hired on as roadies for Fafnir, who then made a snack pack from Anthony and pemmican out of Seth…Damoose…gist is…it all comes back to Fafner

Guys i wish you all the best, have just spent the last week looking through the whole comic and i am amazed, stunned, awed and thrilled all at the same time. So much loving detail and the Characters are brilliant.
