Intermissions: Hod’s Comic #39

Well, the day job’s still hectic for me, but not as bad as it had been in recent months.  For now, I’m gonna do my best to keep Hod‘s Comic going.  It’ll be once a week until I get a buffer built up, but my goal is to get it up to multiple updates a week.

As readers, do you have any problems with it running here while the main comic is still on its indefinite hiatus or would you prefer a different website for it?

    Squeee!
    You’re Back :D
    Happy to see you!
Take care and don’t get overloaded. We’re satisfied with just a little thing every now and then (at least got now….hæ hæh)

  2. Charlotte says:

It’s good to see something, the extended hiatus message was a little sad. That said, no rush! Life should be fun. :) Most happy to see some of Hod’s adventures once in a while!

  3. bargamer says:

Welcome back! And Hod here is fine.

  4. Jim says:

and yeah the comic works just fine here as well.

  8. Trollwind says:

It’s good to hear that the day job is getting a little less crazy, and even better to see some new Hod comics. No reason to not keep it here.

  9. Palmetto says:

I, for one, will gladly accept whatever your time permits.

  10. mightycleric says:

I’m very happy to see an update here of any sort, and the Hod comics are quite amusing. I agree with the others that it is fine for the Hod comics to stay here (in fact, I think it better for them to stay here). I’m also glad to hear that your day job is less hectic, as that not only allows us to get some comics, but also allows you to relax more (hopefully).

  11. Jasta says:

It is SO good to see a post from you gents! And how wonderful that it is Hod’s Comic!! <3

I hope things are going as well as possible for all of you. How I've missed you!!

    Be well!

  12. Chris says:

Real happy to see you back! Once a week is fine with me, busy isn’t always bad as long as it funds your fun! Hope to keep reading here for a long time to come!

  13. Ross says:

Yay! Not dead. I’ll read anything you care to throw at us … I’m a PAWN fan, for Ghu’s sake, and he went a year and nine months between updates once.

  14. Peggye says:

Hod’s a part a Brat-Halla, too. Love his interludes and love that you’ve found time to entertain us again.

  15. Perfect. Post them here. Definitely!

  16. McBehrer says:

Hod =/= Norse mythology. move it.

    /sarcasm.
Please keep it here. I lurvs it.
Also, glad to see you back. I missed it!

  17. riocaz says:

I am happy for any kind of update… ;-) keep it here.

  18. Theala Sildorian says:

Whoo hoo! A new Hod’s Comic! Yippee!! *does the Snoopy dance*

Right here is fine; Hod is part of Brathalla.

Lucky for me I hit the page to get the URL for a friend of mine :D

  19. SQLGuru says:

YAY!!!! Returning for my regular updates has not been in vain!
Hod’s here is as appropriate as it was before.

  20. Stormy says:

Welcome back. Glad your life is chilling out a bit.

Always nice to see one of my “MIA” RSS feeds reactivate. And as an RSS reader it doesn’t really matter to me where the Hod updates get posted, as long as the feed finds them…

The feed MUST find them, ’cause I don’t want to miss them. :P

  21. Insectoid says:

Am I seeing things? ::cleans glasses::

OMG! An actual new comic! ::does Happy Dance::

  22. sprotte says:

Glad to see a new comic!

    I *so* miss Brat-Halla!

  23. atf343 says:

But…. but wasn’t Hod stuck with Sif, Hermod, and mr. red-head trainer? Continuity!

lol, but srsly, so good to c this – almost like bill watson rising from the dead to make Calvin and Hobbes once again, it’s -that- awesome 4 me ;)

  24. Krynne says:

YAY you’re back (and front too)… sorta. In any case good to see you working on the comic again. Can’t wait to see more Hod and hopefully lead back into the plot eventually! But no hurries… take care of yourselves first… we rabid fans can slobber and drool in anticipation a wee bit more if we know there will be something to whet the appetite LOL!!!

  25. Brian says:

Posting Hod here is best IMO.

  26. WarrenSensei says:

OMCeilingCat yes! You mean there’ll actually /be/ something here to keep my hopes up???? SQUEEEE!!! *tacklehug* … fangirl_mode=0

  27. Grimnir The Forgotten says:

I was just flipping through my bookmarks and decided to see how Brat-Halla was going, though i thought it was a hollow wish that the Hiatus had ended prematurely, once I got here I saw Hod. A new comic I did see here when I had long ago given up hope. This, to me, was the greatest gift I could get during Ostr’s feast. It touched me that you had returned and it brought me to tears, I’ll proudly say, glad to have you back.

  28. apstorm says:

Well, it’s been over a month; I guess work got too busy to make more Hod’s comics. Take it easy fellas.

  29. noirakita says:

I haven’t been here in well over a year, sad to see the comic is on indefinite hiatus, stuff happens, ya know? but I’m gonna go back and do a read through. Just saw Thor on opening night and made me think of you. Peace!

  30. Theala Sildorian says:

OK, who’s seen Thor? Who else thinks it totally rocked?!

  31. Dunligiel says:

Well, it’s no Brat-halla… but it was much better than I expected.

  32. Wotan says:

The saddest part about encountering a new webcomic is when you catch up and have to wait like all the others. Especially when you go trough all the comics in one day and when you find the comic to be put on hold. That said your first priority should be your own lives, this comic is very much fun to read but not exactly a life-goal. Finish up your projects, do whatever needs to be done and then you can come back here at any time. It is not just Idun’s apples that make sure, that Norse Mythology will never grow old.

  33. Wish you well. Still see your banner ads.

  34. Kirk says:

No prob, just do like you said and do it once a week, and I’m happy. Alas, it has not been updated in… HOW long?!?

  35. SQLGuru says:

/me wonders what Hod has been up to recently…..

Probably pouting because Thor and Loki made an appearance in the recent movie but he didn’t.

  36. Palmetto says:

I still have an RSS for this joint.

  37. sprotte says:

Really craving an update… don’t let this awesome comic die.

  38. Zeus says:

Dude take all the time you need, I still have fun reading it over and over again, so have fun and the Hod stuff will do fine.

  39. Jasta says:

Still missing all of you and the Brats…. still hoping all is well! <3

  40. Dr. Hardman says:

    Missing the comics.

Who I am supose to pray for the return? Thor? Odin? Odineye?

  41. Jasta says:

Late to the party but I vote for running Hod’s comic here–he IS part of the family, after all! :)

And I was annoyed at the Thor movie because of the changes they made to cast and cosmology, but oh well! And of course no Hod… no Tyr, no Hermod…. wah. But Thor was pretty. *grin*
